Late last year, 2008, we received approval for the Non-Profit Lydia, Inc. which gives you an opportunity to share in some of the things going on in Cambodia and come along side with financial support as the Lord may lead. We trust the Lord to do great things for the Kingdom in 2009 and beyond thru Lydia.
Why Lydia?
The name Lydia, derived from the Greek culture, was common for a woman from Thyatira, which was known for its trade guilds and textiles and a distinctive purple dye that was unique to the area. Her name and occupation indicate that she was a former slave who had been set free. Lydia’s ability to hold her head high in the marketplace represented both a physical and emotional release from bondage.
